Night Sanitation
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in maintaining cleanliness, and can work independently during overnight hours.
Responsibilities:
As a Night Sanitation Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Cleaning and sanitizing all warehouse and office areas (interior and exterior)
- Removing damaged product and disposing of waste properly
- Sweeping and maintaining warehouse floors to required cleanliness levels
- Cleaning restrooms, break rooms, locker rooms, hallways, and common areas
- Transporting trash and refuse to designated disposal areas
- Emptying trash bins and maintaining dumpster/trash areas daily
- Cleaning and scrubbing product bays and pallet areas on a rotating schedule
- Responding to spills or product breakage promptly and safely
- Using cleaning chemicals and supplies safely and correctly
- Completing required sanitation paperwork (HACCP, downtime, SAP, SOP compliance)
- Performing light maintenance tasks as assigned (bulb replacement, recycling pickup, cooler/freezer checks)
Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will have:
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- 1–3 years of sanitation or warehouse cleaning experience
- Food industry sanitation experience is a plus
- Ability to read and write legibly
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Strong attention to safety procedures
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as:
- Pallet jacks
- Floor scrubbers
- Sweepers
- Hydraulic trash compactors
- Balers
- Reach trucks
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift
