About the Role
Our Inbound Checker is the first line of defense for freshness. You’ll inspect, verify, and ensure every pallet that enters our warehouse meets Capitol City Produce quality standards.
What You’ll Do
- Verify all incoming product for accuracy, quality, and condition
- Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and documentation
- Check for correct temperatures and shelf life
- Confirm product rotation standards are followed
- Communicate any discrepancies to management immediately
- Maintain organized receiving areas
- Support food safety and compliance standards
What We’re Looking For
- Warehouse or receiving experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in refrigerated environments (34°F and below)
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Organized, dependable, and quality-driven
Work Environment
Fast-paced warehouse setting with coolers ranging from 34°F to below zero. You’ll be active, moving, and inspecting product throughout your shift.
