What is a Warehouse Night Trainer?

The Warehouse Night Trainer is responsible for the orientation and training of all warehouse personnel and will ensure employees are performing their job duties correctly in compliance with all Company policies and procedures and meet quality, productivity, safety and sanitation expectations. Secondarily assist with lead duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a trainer and / or minimum of one (1) year experience as an order selector
  • Positive attitude
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and attributes
  • Safety and Quality focused
  • Detail oriented
  • Basic understanding of Produce Pro warehouse management system is a plus
  • Basic understanding of Vocollect system
  • Ability to work shifts starting at 6:00 PM

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Train and orientate all employees in safe equipment operation, policies, and procedures.
  • Train order selectors on the proper techniques of selecting per the standard operating procedures.
  • Develop and implement training programs to achieve Company safety, sanitation, quality, and production objectives.
  • Track and meet with new hires weekly to reiterate safety, quality, sanitation and productivity expectations during the training period (45 days).
  • Train all employees in Safe Quality Food procedures.
  • Retrain employees on safe operation of equipment post-accident.
  • Perform annual equipment recertification.
  • Become proficient in the critical positions on the shipping shift to train other personnel and assist when needed.
  • Perform all other duties and assigned tasks.
